We purchased this house in Early 2021. We had to get through MANY zoning hurdles before we were finally able to close in June 2021. Then, it took us until October 2022 to finally have the remodel completed.

This house had formerly been used as a law office since the 1970s and appeared to have not been touched much since then. Even the foundation needed repaired!

Long story short, we took this house down to its studs while trying to keep as much of its historic charm as possible! The fireplace and ceiling beams are original to the home. We tried SO hard to keep the original hardwood floors, but sadly, we couldn’t save them.

​

We loved doing this remodel and hold it dear since it is our very first AND in the heart of our hometown! We also plan to use it ourselves.

​

Fun fact: the lawyer who owned and ran the business for years and years coached Jordon in little league and was Amanda’s brother‘s best friend’s Dad. (Whew, that was a mouthful!)
